Corner Dance Hall

Social dancing has never been this fun!  You'll learn everything from dancing the Foxtrot, Rumba and Waltz to Tango, Cha-Cha, Salsa and Swing dancing.  This class is great for proms, school dances, family gatherings, parties and much more!  No partner needed.

Dancing with the Stars has made swing Latin & ballroom dancing very popular.  More teens are gliding onto the ballroom dance floors than at any point in recent memory.  Unfortunately most dance events in the area are mainly geared for adults.  Rend Lake College has put together Swing, Latin & Ballroom dance lessons especially for high school and college students age of 16 through 21.  In addition to fun easy to learn dance moves, we will show them that Swing, Latin & Ballroom dancing are not only for adults but can also be a great way to meet new friends and help them develop self confidence on & off the dance floor.  In addition to fun dance moves, we will teach proper dance etiquette.  Etiquette & manners in dancing is a long lost art that we hope will make it's way back in our society as the popularity of dancing makes a come back.  Learn Swing, Salsa, Tango, Cha Cha, Waltz and Foxtrot. 

Learn dances for a lifetime of social dancing fun.  Dancing will teach respect, cooperation and patience, the students will gain self-esteem, good balance, coordination, posture and grace and how to relate to people of all ages.
